Meet Our Leadership
REMMSCO recovery homes are managed by a team of staff and a board of directors committed to helping those suffering from addictions. The board of directors meets monthly with the Clinical Director to make decisions regarding the operation of REMMSCO Inc. recovery houses and ways to raise additional funds, further community awareness, and enhance our service to clients.
Clinical Director Kathleen M. Simpson, MA, LCAS, CCS
Kathleen joined REMMSCO, Inc. in October of 2016 and became the Executive Director in March 2017. She has been a counselor and college instructor in North Carolina and Michigan since 1985. Kathleen has a BS in Psychology and Art and a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Special Programs in Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and a Certified Clinical Supervisor through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB). Kathleen is in charge of both clinical and executive management of the residents and organization in general. She reports to the Board of Directors.
